From the vault: Dream Corridor

This is a painting of mine called 'Dream Corridor'. It came about when I had a dream that I was painting this picture. It was so incredibly vivid in the dream that as soon as I woke up I started painting the picture in 'real life'. The title is obviously a reference to it's origins, but it's also a nod to the Harlan Ellison book of the same name. It was painted in a combination of acrylic and watercolour. After this, I did a series of paintings that were based around pictures I'd been painting in dreams and it was actually became the theme of an exhibition of my work shortly afterwards. Over the next week or so, I'll share some of the other pieces from that exhibition.
